Evaluation of the Financial Situation of a Company and Proposals for its Improvement

Bachelor thesis gives analyze financial situation of the selected company in years 2013-2017 and the subsequent proposals for improvement of the situation. Theoretical section defines information about aims, concepts and used methods for financial analysis, as well as presented the company. The second part, deals with own work, is focused on processing and application of individual indicators to the analyzed company Czech Sport Aircraft, a.s. The last part contains recommendations for improving the current financial situation of company.

Evalution of Corporation´s Economic and financial situation.

This diploma paper treats methods of financial analysis and thein use for evaluation of the economic and financial situation of a company. I tis dividend in free parts – a theoretical one, an analytical one and a practical one. In the theoretical part of this diploma paper there are selected terminology explained and certain methods of financ ial analysis described. The kex attention is paid to elementary methods, primarily to the analysis of the status indices, ratio indices and the analysis of the system of indices. In the secon part of the paper these methods are used for processing of the financial analysis of the Spalovna a komunální odpady Corporation, in Brno. The reset of the analysis will be an evaluation of the society development during the years of 2003 – 2008, as well as an evaluation of the economic situation and status of the company at the end of the evaluation period and also an outline of a possible future development of this corporation. In the third part there will be a proposal of a solution for expansion of the corporatin presented on the basis of the results of the analysis and an evaluation of the corporation economic performance.

The first part of the thesis comprises theoretical fundamentals of the financial analysis and introduction the company. The second part represents application of financial analysis methods to assess the financial situation of the specific company. Summary gathers the general financial situation of the specific company and proposals to its improvement.

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation in the selected company. The theoretical part will be focused on the characteristics of basic concepts and the introduction of selected methods and indicators of the financial analysis. In the practical part each method will be applied on the selected enterprise in order to identify the cause of the adverse situation. The measures for improving of the found issues will be proposed in the last part of the thesis.
